Raising our Beef

Today in our pasture, we have black and red angus. Our calves are raised naturally with respect for nature and small farming. They are attended to every day, are on pasture year round, and have plenty room to roam.  Having them on pasture prevents health problems associated with over-crowding. And,  instead of branding, they are identified with ear tags.

Caring for our calves is in tune with our philosophy of natural sustainability and respect.  We use no growth hormones, antibiotics, or mammalian byproducts.  We feed strictly a vegetarian diet of our own pasture and hay - a mixture of alfalfa, clover and grasses.  They are not fed corn or grain.

When you buy our meat, you know where it is
coming from, what it was fed and how it was raised.
